About

I was born with various birth defects, the most noticeable of which is the limb difference in my right arm and hand. As a young girl, I fell in love with motorcycles and music. After getting a very short ride on my sister's then-boyfriend's motorcycle, I knew that one day, I would have to ride my own. As a young teenager, I began to play guitar using a prosthetic. Jimmy Page, the guitarist in Led Zeppelin was why I started to play guitar but AC/DC's lead guitarist, Angus Young, is why I continued.

My husband and I formed an AC/DC tribute band called BARE RUMP in 2001 which I used as a vehicle to demonstrate what can be accomplished. Over the years, many would approach me to share how they found me to be inspiring, and after seeing how I played guitar, realized that they too could accomplish what they previously thought might not be possible.

A breast cancer diagnosis in February 2014 motivated me to ride a motorcycle which I started to do in 2017. My motorcycles have all been slightly modified so that I can ride with one (left) hand due to my limb difference.

After 25+ years in the corporate world managing small and large teams, I made the decision to make a career change to become an Inspirational Speaker on a full-time basis.

I share my story to inspire, motivate and educate. No one should ever be judged based on their appearance.
